Some Instagram Photos

I feel bad for just giving you a text post so here's a few photos from my Instagram!

So to round it all off, I discovered that I find it relaxing to bake when I'm stressed, I got into the University of Leicester, I passed my grade 7 violin exam, I ate a lot of Croques, I started reading A Game Of Thrones and I had a pretty good summer!
Thanks for reading

An Explanation

Hello there!
This is just going to be a quick text post to explain why I haven't been blogging and what I'm doing now.
Firstly, I'm so sorry for not posting anything for such a long while. I had January exams and then many months of stress preparing for my June exams. It was a truly horrible experience and I have never been so stressed in my life. I decided not to blog until my exams were completely over but then once they were , I just wasn't in the right mood to blog anything. Recently I've been thinking about blogging again and today I decided to get the ball rolling with this text post.

Anyway, thank goodness, the hard work paid off and I'm going to be going to the University of Leicester to study mechanical engineering! This was my first choice so I was really chuffed and I can't wait to start my course. I'm going to be living in halls despite being local to Leicester so I've been doing lots of shopping and packing. I don't move in until the 29th of September but it's hard to not get over excited and do a little bit of packing already!

Hopefully I'll be getting around to doing some photo posts as there's lots of stuff I've bought over the last few months that I'm really excited about and would love to share with you guys!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this! I hope you had a wonderful summer and you'll hear from me soon.

Late Christmas Post!

Hello everyone! Oh dear, I apologise. It has been a while. I seem to be starting all my posts with an apology lately and this one doesn't seem to be an exception!
My exams start on Friday eek! I need to do fairly well in these hence the hardcore revision sessions and that lack of posting. Anyway, I took some time out yesterday to take a few photos of some of the lovely presents I got for Christmas.

1)

My mum bought me this. This perfume is lovely. I've been wearing the same one for a while now (Carcharel Amor Amor, which is also great) and so a new perfume was a welcome change! It lasts a long while, sometimes in the evening I still manage to get a whiff of it. It has a gorgeous gentle and subtle smell which I prefer to strong fruity perfumes. I really recommend it.

2)

These lovely things are all from the boyfriend. He also bought be some really funky toe socks but they were in the wash. Like the tshirt? Tough because he made it. Apparently it's not too hard to do though :) I absolutely love my necklaces. The owl necklace is really subtle and cute, and I've wanted an amethyst necklace forever so it was a lovely surprise.

3)

Some of the bottoms I got! The two skirts are from Topshop and I asked for them so they weren't exactly a surprise but either way, I love them! Especially the green one, it's really lightweight and the colour is beaut. I bought the shorts on impulse because it was on sale on Urban Outfitters for £15. They sold out so quickly! I'm glad I got a pair but they are very tight at the top and I wouldn't call them true to size. Luckily I've lost some weight recently so this wasn't too much of a problem for me.

4)

These are some of the lovely green tops I got. The first one is from Urban Outfitters. I wanted it for ages but I couldnt justify the price plus postage and packaging, suddenly, there was free postage and packaging and I was on it straight away! It's a lovely top and really comfortable. The other top was from my brother and is from Topshop. I have a similar one in white. I love the fit, the colour and the pattern is really nice.

5)

Last thing, I promise! This is a scarf that my neighbours got be and it really is gorgeous. The colours are so lovely. Purples, blues and greens are a favourite of mine. The sequins make it look really classy too.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed having a butchers and that you had a lovely Christmas. I'm going to do some more revision now, hooray. Adios and thank you for reading.x
